Upon returning from my Hawaii trip, I’m going through some serious Maui withdrawal symptoms. No longer do mango, papaya or pineapple taste the same.
I’m sure the winners of the Alaska Airlines trip are also learning to cope with “reality” again :-)
What an amazing group of people — down to earth, positive and happy, and most importantly, they all enjoyed themselves, which made me enjoy Maui that much more.
Private catamaran sails, a taste of dancing UNDER the stars at our private luau (which of course brought back memories of my time on Dancing with the Stars.I want to reach out and say thank you to all of the followers of the Follow Apolo campaign. I’m blessed to have the opportunity to share with all of you bits of my journey, path and pre-/post-Olympic pursuits.
There were many times when I lacked the self-confidence to get up and fight another day, but truly your support inspired me to be better, more consistent and focused. Not just in sport but beyond! I thank you. Please continue to follow me at ApoloAntonOhno.com for what is next for me, be it film, TV, 8zone or my book!
Of course I cannot depart without saying thank you to my friends/team/partners at Alaska Airlines. This relationship has been an incredible one, filled with true hometown roots, emotion, authenticity, and an organic chemistry that is unmatched.
Your relationship with your customers and friends is amazing. I’ve personally witnessed your consistency in treating them so very well.
We all strive to be better, and to seek inspiration from others to create sparks within ourselves. So I say we reach for the unreachable, and have zero regrets in our pursuit.
Thank you!
Apolo
